Configuration and Settings

Customize Bookengo's settings to align with your hotel's specific needs, including notifications and operational preferences for better efficiency.

Overview

Configure Bookengo to match your hotel's operations, from user permissions to notification preferences and reservation workflows. Access the settings dashboard from your Bookengo account menu. Tailor these options to improve guest experiences and staff efficiency.

Account and User Settings

Manage your hotel's staff accounts and roles to control access to shuttle reservations.

Access Settings

Navigate to Account > Users in the dashboard.

Add User

Click Add User and enter details like name, email, and role (admin, manager, or driver).

Set Permissions

Assign permissions such as view_reservations, edit_shuttles, or manage_notifications.

Save Changes

Review and save. New users receive a welcome email.

Use role-based access to prevent drivers from editing reservation workflows.

Notification Configurations

Set up notifications to keep your team informed about new reservations, shuttle delays, or cancellations.

Enable email alerts for managers.

  "enabled": true,
  "recipients": ["manager@grandhotel.com", "ops@grandhotel.com"],
  "events": ["new_reservation", "shuttle_delayed"]
}

Customizing Reservation Workflows

Adapt the reservation process to your hotel's needs, such as requiring manager approval for large groups.

Standard flow: Guest books → Auto-confirm → Assign shuttle.

Test workflow changes in a staging environment before applying to production.

These configurations ensure Bookengo fits seamlessly into your hotel operations, reducing manual work and boosting guest satisfaction. Review settings quarterly to accommodate seasonal changes.
